    Hunton Values

Hunton CEP School promotes an ethos underpinned by our five values.

Putting yourself in someone else's shoes and experiencing what they experience, leading to a desire to act.

Colossians 3:12 'Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.'

Standing firm in the face of hardship, persecution or scorn. Having confidence in God's love, mercy, faithfulness and righteousness.

Romans 15:4 'For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.'

True friendship enables each person to grow and ensures that the unique individuality and value of each person is recognised.

John 15: 13-14 (Jesus’ words at the Last Supper) ‘Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.’

Thankfulness is directed towards God who gives and sustains life. Thankfulness is a wholehearted response. It stems from a consciousness of God's gifts and blessings. It is a joyfulness that erupts into praise.

Philippians 4:6 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.'

In addition to these 4 Christian values, we promote the value of

This underpins everything we do, from our attitude to learning, to the way we present ourselves to the world.
